Here you can find out what's going on across different venues taking part in Leeds Open Studios 2026.
City Centre
Fabrication 2
Kurinuki carving, free drop-in: Amy Stringer, 11am–4pm both Saturday and Sunday.
Bind your own chapbook, free drop-in: with Anachronalia's bindery, both Saturday and Sunday. Using historical binding techniques and woodcut-style stamps made with artist Dr Geof. Suitable for ages 14+.
Access note from the venue: ground floor entry via 5 steps that turn, the bindery itself is on the first floor up two flights of stairs via a narrow doorway; not step-free.
East Street Arts, Patrick Studios & Convention House
Open Studios: over 20 studios open across Patrick Studios (East Wing, Basement, Ground Floor, First Floor, Mezzanine) and Convention House, floor by floor. Work available to buy directly from artists. Free entry.
First Annual Riso Convention, free drop-in: 10am–4pm both days. Riso badge making (drop in any time), drop-in riso printing, a Riso Residency work-in-progress exhibition, a mini art market with fellow riso printers Footprints, and refreshments. Family-friendly, all ages, no booking required.
Salon: Studio Holder Exhibition: group show of painting, sculpture, print and textiles from artists based at Patrick Studios, Convention House and Barkston House. On display in the Project Space, Patrick Studios (first floor), 12–24 September, with an opening evening on Thursday 10 September (open to the public from 6pm), so it'll be up across the whole Open Studios weekend. Free entry.
Patrick Studios and Convention House have lift access to most areas, including activity spaces, with accessible toilets on site. Friendly dogs are welcome (individual studios may differ), family friendly.
Leeds Print Workshop
Free, family-friendly drop-in printmaking: have a go at screen printing, lino printing, collagraph, monoprinting, letterpress or etching. Based in the Basement of Patrick Studios, Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am–4:30pm.

Swarthmore
Open Day: Saturday only, 10am–4pm. Tutors and mini taster sessions in the jewellery and pottery workshops, 11am–2pm.
Mosaic making: free family event (Heritage Open Days), two pre-bookable sessions, 10am–12pm and 1pm–3pm.
Chinese paper craft: free, family-friendly drop-in (Heritage Open Days), 10am–4pm.
Two pre-bookable workshops also running: an introduction to Procreate, and a screen printing session.
The Attic
Free drop-in keyring making: with Daisy of Sew Sweet Pea, Saturday only.
Lucky Pea pop-up sale: a small sale from resident Lucy of Lucky Pea, Saturday only.
Farsley
Sunny Bank Mills
Pop-up Studios: new this year, in the Main Yard. Outside artists and makers who don't normally have a studio here, showing across Saturday, Sunday, or both (around 18 makers confirmed).
Clocking In Trail: free, family-friendly drop-in trail. Stamp a card at 6 "Everyday History" spots around the site (signposted with bunting and archive photos) to win a prize. Suitable for all ages, donations welcomed. Starts at the Main Yard, Bobbin Room, or any studio building.
The Rolling Year: a new collaborative exhibition by Kim Coley & Mel Davies in the Spinning Mill Loft, both days, no booking required, free entry.
Studios open across the Spinning Mill, Twisting, and Red Lane Mill buildings. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
